What Bucket List Items Do MA Residents Want To Do Most?
The overwhelming favorite when it came to top bucket list items for Massachusetts residents was to visit the country’s 15th national park, with the Grand Canyon scoring a search interest score of 42, compared to the next closest items (going scuba diving at 37 and getting married at 35).
Throw in visiting Paris (22 search interest score) and going skydiving (eight search interest score) and you have the top five items that Massachusetts residents appear to share on their respective bucket lists.
Rounding out the MA bucket list checklist was running a marathon (seven search interest score), getting a tattoo and donating blood (six search interest score each), writing a book (five search interest score) and going ziplining (two search interest score).
Given the fact that Grand Canyon National Park was the second-most visited NPS facility in the nation, with 4.73 visitors (trailing only Great Smoky National Park, at 13.29 million), it should be of little surprise that the 105-year-old national park is the Commonwealth’s top bucket list item in 2024.
