Point Guard: Jrue Holiday

The two-time NBA All-Star and six-time All-Defensive Team member is widely regarded as one of the best defensive guards in NBA history. After being drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers in 2009, Holiday has made his way around the league, playing with the New Orleans Pelicans, Milwaukee Bucks and finally, the Boston Celtics. He won his first NBA Championship with the Bucks in 2021 and piled on his second with Boston in 2024. Over his career, Holiday has averaged 16.1 points, 4.2 rebounds and 6.3 assists, and while he's not a favorite to win the NBA Finals MVP, he's still a key part of the Celtics starting 5.

Shooting Guard: Derrick White

"The Buffalo" is one of the newer starters for the Celtics, having entered the starting lineup in the 2022-2023 NBA season. Derrick White has been in the league since 2017, having been drafted by the San Antonio Spurs. His career averages have remained pretty steady between the Spurs and the Celtics, having averaged more than 15 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists in his latest season. On the defensive side of the ball, White has been even better, earning NBA All-Defensive Team honors in each of the last two seasons. That has culminated in an NBA Championship (2024) and Olympic Gold Medal (2024).

Small Forward: Jaylen Brown

Jaylen Brown, the 2024 NBA Finals MVP, is an integral member of the Celtics starting lineup. Declaring for the 2016 NBA Draft after just one of college basketball with the California Golden Bears, Brown has notched three NBA All-Star honors and a 2024 NBA Championship. Over his career with Boston, Brown has averaged 18.7 points per game, 5.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists. Those averages don't do Brown justice though, as he's averaged more than 20 points per game in each season since 2019-2020.
