Massachusetts Among Biggest American Dog Lovers This International Dog Day

Whoever said that dogs are man’s best friend clearly must have spent some time in the Bay State, as Massachusetts residents are among the most dog-friendly of any American state overall. That’s because Massachusetts ranked eighth nationally when it came to search interest scores related to our furry, four-legged companions, with a search interest total of 245.9 in total.

That score put Massachusetts well behind other leaders in dog friendliness, such as Colorado, which led the nation with a total score of 329.2, but ahead of two other states in the national top 10.

International Dog Day is celebrated on August 26.
