Patriots 2025 NFL Draft Odds

With the Patriots' postseason hopes officially dashed, fans can start looking toward next season which begins with the 2025 NFL Draft. It's no secret New England has plenty of holes that need to be addressed this offseason. Thankfully, the Patriots should have a top-5 draft pick and currently have the most cap space available for 2025, putting them in a strong position to make a quick turnaround.

What Pick do the Patriots Have in the 2025 NFL Draft?

If the NFL Draft were to happen today, the Patriots would have the third overall pick. There are five other teams with 3 wins, but New England has one of the hardest remaining schedules across the league. This should keep them near the top of the draft board by the time April rolls around.

Who Will the Patriots Draft?

There are plenty of different directions New England could go with their first round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. The most important positions the Patriots need to address are offensive line, wide receiver, and edge rusher.

What New England does, or is likely to do, will become much clearer after the dust from free agency settles. As mentioned above, the Patriots currently have the most cap space for next season with a whopping $139.4 million. For reference, only four teams have $100 million or more in cap space and New England has $20 million more than the next closest team. Current Bengals WR Tee Higgins has been a popular name thrown around as a free agent target that would make a lot of sense for the Pats to go after.

Depending on where the Patriots ultimately end up in the draft order, they could also be in a prime position to trade down and accumulate more draft stock.
