Which New England Patriots Jerseys Have The Best Win-Loss Percentage?

Fact Checked by Thomas Leary

The glory days of the New England Patriotsā€™ dynasty are long gone, with the Bill Belichick era ending in a 4-13 thud last season, bringing about the winds of change in Foxborough.

That change was the move by owner Robert Kraft to replace Belichick with his former team captain, as Jerod Mayo moves over from his role as inside linebackers coach to become the first new leader of the franchise since his former head coach arrived in 2000.

This season, New England is likely looking at another rough season across Massachusetts sports betting, but we'll look for a silver lining.

With the Patriots attempting a quick rebuild to get back to their heyday, BetMassachusetts.com wanted to take a look at past Patriots performances to see if there was a jersey that yielded better results. Using Pro-Football-Reference.com, we looked at the past five seasons and found the win-loss percentages for all the jerseys the Patriots wore.

Which Uniform Have Patriots Played Best In?

Since 2019, New Englandā€™s best uniform combo when it comes to overall win percentage is their blue jersey with gray stripes, which has a .833 win percentage, beating out the teamā€™s white set (.514) and blue jerseys with red stripes (.447).

Rounding out the list is the Patsā€™ red jersey combo, which has seen the lowest win percentage of the quartet at .250, illustrating just how hard times have gotten for one of the NFLā€™s most successful franchises this century.

Since winning the Super Bowl in 2018, the Patriots have posted an anemic 41-42 (.494) record, with the franchiseā€™s two playoff appearances in the last five years ending in Wild Card round defeats to the Tennessee Titans (20-13 in 2019) and Buffalo Bills (47-17 in 2021).

Regardless of which uniforms Mayo and company pull out for the teamā€™s 17-game season in 2024-25, Patriots fans can only hope that happy days are here again after whatā€™s been a steep fall from grace since Tom Bradyā€™s departure after that 2019 loss to the Titans.
